Disability Advice Network Enfield (DANE) – Now Supporting Residents Across Enfield

Enfield Citizens Advice is proud to be leading a nine-year borough-wide disability support service, commissioned by the London Borough of Enfield. The service officially launched on 2 June 2025 and is now actively supporting residents across Enfield.
This long-term investment reflects the Council’s commitment to preventative services that not only meet residents’ immediate needs but also strengthen independence, resilience and wellbeing for the future.

DANE Programme Empowering Independence in Edmonton
Edmonton Community Partnership is proud to play a leading role in delivering digital inclusion and community-based support as part of the Disability Advice Network Enfield (DANE) programme.
Through this initiative, we provide practical, person-centred services that help residents build confidence, strengthen independence and access the support they need locally.
These services form part of the wider DANE programme, commissioned by the London Borough of Enfield, which is strengthening access to information, advice, digital inclusion and assistive technology across the borough.

Digital Inclusion Support
We help residents build the skills and confidence to use digital devices and online services safely and independently.
Whether it’s accessing NHS services, completing online forms, setting up email, learning how to use everyday apps or understanding AI and scams, our friendly team provides patient, practical support.

Our Support in Edmonton
ECP Community Hub Sessions in Edmonton
Our Community Hub sessions offer a welcoming local space where residents can access essential information, guidance, and personalised support.
We work collaboratively with individuals to strengthen independence, improve wellbeing, and ensure social inclusion.
Our support is comprehensive, welcoming community members from all cultural backgrounds across Enfield. We are committed to accessibility, providing multilingual services and translation capabilities to ensure we effectively address every concern and manage all cases.
The enquiries we assist with cover a broad spectrum, including local matters (such as liaising with local councils, schools, GP and hospital appointments/referrals, and dentists) and general enquiries (such as car insurance, tax, DVLA, immigration settlement schemes, EU enquiries, and passport applications). We also provide support for many other matters, including municipal services.

Part of the Disability Advice Network Enfield (DANE)
Our services form part of the borough-wide Disability Advice Network Enfield (DANE) — a partnership of trusted local organisations delivering information, advice, digital inclusion and assistive technology services across Enfield.
Through this collaboration, we are helping to build a more connected, inclusive and resilient community.

The Disability Advice Network Enfield service will help eligible service users with maximising independence and wellbeing, staying digitally connected and navigate services through information, advice and guidance.
ELIGIBILITY CRITERIA
To use this service you need to live in Enfield, be over 18 years old and meet one of the following criterion:
- Have a health condition, disability or learning difficulty
- Be a carer
- Be aged 17 and transitioning to adulthood
HOW TO MAKE A SELF-REFERRAL
If you meet the one of the criterias it is really simple to refer yourself to the service:

- Complete the registration form and send
- An assessor will review your form and get in touch with you
