#SkillsForLife Gets an Upgrade

Yesterday we were fortunate enough to receive a £3k donation from EMR Edmonton! This money will go towards our #SkillsForLife project, aimed at getting NEET young people aged 16-24 back into the workforce.

EMR Metal Recycling is a global leader in metal recycling, whose mission is to help the world use its precious resources more sustainably. Through their “Young Futures Reimagined programme” EMR aim to support and help build bright futures for young people across the UK, by supporting local communities.

This kind donation is invaluable and will go a long way towards helping to eliminate some of the barriers to participation, for the disadvantaged young people we work with.  This last year has been a challenging one for all of us and our project will give young people the opportunity to re-train and gain qualifications/work experience and job opportunities that they would not easily gain otherwise.

A huge thanks to EMR Edmonton from everyone at ECP!
