The Edmonton Community Partnership began when a group of 20 schools in the area joined to form a network to address some of the issues faced by our shared communities. Since we started working together our networks have grown and strengthened and we now work together, with our local communities, to help tackle some of the issues they face.
Over the years we have run a number of high profile inclusive projects across the area to raise aspirations of local families and address the complex needs within the Edmonton area.
Projects have ranged from talent competitions such as the Edmonton Glee project run by the Pineapple Dance Studio to fencing and archery clubs including specialist equipment for schools. We’ve run healthy cooking workshops for families as well as supported various improvements to outdoor play spaces across Edmonton. All Edmonton Community Partnership projects aim to make a difference to the lives of local people.
We are heavily focused on giving families in this area the opportunities to help them succeed. We have strong links with local partner organisations and bodies (e.g. Enfield Council, Police, Health Services and other community and voluntary sector organisations).
The Edmonton Community Partnership is committed to:
Raising Aspirations Inspiring Communities Improving Outcomes.
